I'm new to I.T. and I need to learn these two applications.

I learn best in a classroom with a teacher (so I don't want online courses, book recommendations or tutorial DVD's)

I'm not working, so can't pay. The course has to be free.

But have patience - half the battle is them trying to identify who is best to answer you.

asp help needed to connect a database using dreamweaver on a local server?

iv'e created an asp page with a connection to a table using a tutorial from my college on dreamweaver, dreamweaver shows no problems, i can see that the table and correct heading would be visible, however im trying to do this on my own PC at home, using IIS on the same computer. my HTML files show no problems and show images too, but im having a very hard time with ASP and the database, when i press F12 i get this message:

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '(unknown)'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.

and iv'e checked line 8 and it says this:

Recordset1.ActiveConnection = MM_connmanga_STRING

and to be honest it makes no sense to me, can anyone please me decipher this and find and fix the problem?

Microsoft's data connectors are a PAIN!!! Particularly to ACCESS!

In most cases avoid using a DSN connector if at all possible, it is a better way to connect.
Here is a quide to help, but YOUR computer and YOUR ODBC connections are the issue. No doubt your home PC is not setup the same way as the schools.
