How can I make a flow chart with Microsoft Office 2003?
I need to make a flow chart for a class assignment, but I have no idea how to do it on a computer. I have office 2003, with word 2003, excel 2003, and powerpoint 2003. Can I make a flow chart with any of these programs? how?
The flow chart symbols are included in the Drawing toolbar in MS Office.
If it is not visible at the bottom of your open Word/Excel document, go to View > Toolbars and click on the Drawing toolbar.
Next, to insert a flowchart symbol click on Autoshapes on the Drawing toolbar. (Far Left).
Select the Flowchart menu and choose the symbol to insert.
Click in the Word document, Excel spreadsheet, etc to insert the symbol in the document. You can drag it to the appropriate location.
Repeat the process for additional symbols required to complete your flowchart.
You can use the Line tool next to the Autoshapes control to insert lines to connect the flowchart symbols as needed.
