Lenovo Y450 Review
The Lenovo Y450 is a multimedia laptop with a 14-inch screen, a nice touchpad with multi-touch controls, HDMI out, and enough power and storage to get you through several years of college. The Lenovo Y450 inherits the same look as the larger Y650 in a smaller form factor with a few subtle changes. The IdeaPad Y450 was designed with students in mind as part of the new IdeaPad refresh earlier this year.
Powering the Y450 are an Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 CPU, 3GB of RAM, and Intel's GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics chip. It also has a nice keyboard touch and layout, a very good 14 inch backlight HD LED display screen, good sound for a laptop, tons of connections (for a mouse), and the capability to run any software available today.
The new Lenovo IdeaPad Y450 notebook has OneKey™ Theater - a single button that effortlessly optimizes your audio and video settings for high-definition entertainment. The 1.4-inch–thick, 4.6-pound body could never be confused with that of a MacBook Air , but it is much lighter and thinner than other laptops in its price range.
The Lenovo Y450 include two USB ports, a four-pin FireWire port, one eSATA/USB combo port, a five-in-one flash reader, an ExpressCard/34 slot, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, headphone and microphone jacks, HDMI- and VGA-out, a 1.3-megapixel Webcam, a DVD burner, and an infrared port compatible with Lenovo remote controls.
Lenovo Y450 Pros:
affordable base configuration
option for dedicated graphics (unlike the majority of cheaper Lenovo notebooks)
thin and light
Cons:
relatively small keyboard
mediocre battery life

How do I set-up my wireless bluetooth mouse?
I just got a Dell XPS M1530 laptop with bluetooth capability. I also bought a OEM mini mouse, Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000. It only came with the mouse and case. I tried using my computer to click add devices and search for it, but nothing comes up, even my cell phone doesn't come up.
However, when I use my cell phone to search for devices, it finds my laptop and the mouse. I tried to send a file to my cell phone from the laptop, and that also worked. I was able to send mp3s from my laptop to my cell just fine.
But for some reason, I can't connect my bluetooth mouse to the laptop. Can anyone help me out here? Why won't it detect the mouse or the cell phone?
Here's how I've tried to connect it...
I turn on the mouse and click the bluetooth button so the light on the mouse flashes. And than I click add devices on Bluetooth Devices on the laptop and it doesn't detect.
Simply go here: http://www.revver.com/video/709608/how-to-set-up-a-bluetooth-device/
Hope this helps.

Why Go Bluetooth?
The Bluetooth mouse is the culmination of all the best qualities of a variety of different mouse devices. At first, mouse devices started out with large, unwieldy serial type connectors. Next they evolved to PS/2 connectors then finally on to USB style connectors. The new generation devices now communicate with computers through radio frequencies; no wires are necessary. The radio frequency (RF) devices often use USB ports for the wireless connection. There is a transmitter in the mouse devices that sends radio signals to the USB connector which then communicates with the computer and tells it what to do. The USB receivers have gotten smaller and smaller and now there is a way to use these wireless devices without taking up a USB port.
Bluetooth devices communicate on radio frequencies, much like other RF devices. The Bluetooth devices transmit a 2.4 GHz signal through a technique known as frequency hopping. The frequency hopping allows the individual devices to avoid interference from other Wi-Fi devices. Rather than having a USB receiver, the latest generation of Bluetooth devices communicate directly with the computers. Many laptops and notebooks are Bluetooth enabled to allow the use of wireless devices.
Using Bluetooth devices can save you time and headache of having to keep track of a USB receiver. Also, Bluetooth devices generally have a much larger range, up to 30 feet, where a wireless mouse with a USB receiver has a range of about 15 feet.
