Remote password and local pass word for business contact manager are not same?
correctly speaking the are the same, and i made susre of that myself i used microsoft help but ended in the sam spot one of the computer i have connected to the database work perfectly it seem fro what i am seeing a xp to vista error but i dnt know...anyone whom can help me out i would more that appreciate it
The way I look at it is:
You are trying to acces a new Vista network from an old Xp computer located somewhere else.
Your new system: Vista, doesn't have your account and password.
The network administrator has to include your account in:
"Who can acces this computer from the network"
in the Administrative tools: Local security. (that is in XP)
But, if your new network is Vista sytem, You have to find the equivalent for "administrative tool": Security (Whatever the name might be) I guess is the same.
