I'm doing this Kinect Review before I even get mine (I've pre ordered it)! I'm so excited I just can't wait!
Unless you've been hiding under a rock you've heard about the news about Microsofts new game controller the Kinect that will be released on the first week in November. No video game has been more anxiously awaited than the latest Kinect gaming system.
Why is this new Microsoft Xbox Kinect so remarkable? Because it seems to be the first time in gaming history that the participant's body can become the game controller. The conventional controller will not be needed to play.
The Nintendo Wii has been the widely used game for many months because it allowed the players to be involved in the endeavor. If tennis was the game then the participant would be swinging the racket (the game controller). If it was golf, then the players would hold and swing the ‘putter, driver or iron'.
The Kinect game will allow for the same type of endeavor but will eliminate the controllers from the game. A player's body is the game controller!
Other Kinect games are simaler. Therefor it makes it much harder to be a ‘couch potato' and play Xbox Kinect games.
As they watch the monitor they'll be able to see their avatar (likeness) as they jog, vault, race or combat the adversary with a rifle. therefor they be involved more in the match and they will be able to look at themselves while they are involved in the Xbox Kinect game.
There should be around 20 Kinect games available. But that's other Kinect Reviews. 
To cover them Breifly, even young children will be able to play the Xbox Kinect games. Their avatar can be a tiger as they jump through an obstacle path.
One of the popular games, it looks like, will be the Kinect Star Wars game. This Kinect game will require a player to use a light saber (hand motions) in order to fight many different enemies, including the evil Darth Vader himself!
For those that are like dancing, there will be a game for them to enjoy as well. Kinect Dance Central will help lead players through dance moves. Alone or with a partner.
The new Xbox Kinect system shall get couch potatoes off their butts and into the action. This I belive is one of the greatest advancements in video controllers in years.
