Implementin HTML 5: A World (Wide Web) Improved
HTML 5 isn't just a tweak or two different from its predecessor, HTML 4. There is a rather large difference between the two. HTML 5 is used as a primary resource for some sites, and other sites use it only when required. Eventually the web be completely founded and based on HTML 5. The internet will evolve to a much higher platform.
HTML 5 involves new markup codes. These new codes allow quite a few signature improvements such as: section, article, footer, audio, video, progress, nav, meter, time, aside, and canvas. These improvements are the highlighted tags in HTML 5. For less tech savvy people, this means better visual and auditory sites. These tags are already implemented across many sites, primarily the Video and Audio tags are used. These are welcomed as a savior from Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silver Light products. With HTML 5 there will be no required secondary software to run. If everything is natively run from the browser, the web will be much quicker and more accessible. YouTube is already starting to use HTML 5, among other popular sites. Many more are sure to follow within the next five years.
With revision 5, HTML can use inline SVG and MathML. This in turn will provide a much needed improvement for mathematically enhanced sites, like programs colleges and universities use to teach online courses. These sites are a perfect example of where HTML 5 is improving the user experience.
Since no secondary programs will be needed, applications or add-ons like Adobe Flash are no longer going to need secondary software installed. Videos and music will load without the user needing to install any extra software, and games will be able to run straight from the internet instead of from a disk. Simply put: Computers will only need to be running the browser. No more add-ons. The only use for secondary add-ons will be interactive flash games. This will also greatly reduce the risk of Spyware or Virus's.
Since video will be run in the browser without the use of Flash or Microsoft Silverlight, users will be able to see video on almost any device (that supports HTML 5) without any lag or hesitation. Audio will also load with a native player, to avoid illegal downloads and obnoxiously designed media player interfaces. Native media content will allow for a much improved user experience.
What this means for users: HTML 5 will bring a better user experience, faster computers and more content. Not having to use add-ons will provide a safer browsing environment, with less chance to acquire Viruses or Spyware. Even with these advancements, the main advantage is for developers. HTML

Can I and how do I implement HTML codes into my Microsoft Publisher Webpage?
I am trying to do implement ads from different sources such as google, but when I go to view the webpage, it shows up in code not ads - please help. I"m frustrated.
Microsoft PUblisher 2003 has Webpage capability. That is what I"m "playing with" now.
Click INSERT > HTML code fragment
Write the Ad's HTML code in the box. (You can paste it by pressing CTRL + V.)
MS Publisher is not great for web development, you should look into some other software, I reccomend Dreamweaver as part of Adobe Creative Suite!

Display ગુજરાતી(gujarati) Text in HTML Page Using Frontpage
STEP 1: Open a new blank html file in Microsoft FrontPage and save it as index.html
STEP 2: Insert the following tag exactly after the tag.
STEP 3: To insert gujarati text in the body part
A. Do it by knowing Unicode
i) Type the code for characters that you desire to display on the html page. Here is the code-chart.
OR
B. Use a keyboard utility that will help you to easily create content in Gujarati.
i) Copy the whole content from that utility to your html page.
OR
C. Install a Language Package Interface (LIP) from Microsoft site.
a) Visit http://www.microsoft.com/unlimitedpotential/programs/llp.mspx
b) Click on Localization Language offerings
c) Select India in the image and Select Gujarati from the Asian languages List.
d) Insert your download (ie. Windows vista, Windows XP, windows 2003)
e) After validation of Genuine Microsoft product, it will provide a Download button.
f) Download and save the file at appropriate place (by default, the name of the file will be LIP_gu-IN.mlc).
g) Double click the file and go through the setup process, at the end of which Gujarati package will get installed in your computer.
h) Now Click on Start->Control Panel
i) Click to open Regional and Language Options.
j) Click the Keyboards and Languages tab, and then click Change keyboards.
k) Under Installed services, click Add.
l) Click the language Gujarati (India) and then click OK.
m) Now you will see a language bar in the task bar. It will show the current input language.
n) Create the text part of the html page using Microsoft Word[Ensure that current keyboard language should be GU in language bar to type in gujarati]. Use the fonts that support Unicode like Arial Unicode MS, Shruti,etc. [Take help of Character Map, when needed]
[ To change the input language : Click the Input language button on the Language bar, and then click GU Gujarati (India) or EN English ( United States) as per your wish. If you don't see the Language bar, right-click the taskbar, point to Toolbars, and then click Language bar. ]
o) Copy the content to Front page html file.
STEP 4: Now you are ready to publish the page.
STEP 5: Don’t forget to check it on different browsers like IE, FireFox, Opera,etc.
