Wii2: A massive competitor for Sony and Microsoft

The Wii2 has been announced by Nintendo and when the news were uploaded on the internet, there were a lot of fans that just started to go while in expectancy of the new console and they already started making plans on how they will get the best Nintendo Wii Deals for it. At the current time, the main competitor on the market of gaming consoles is Nintendo, managing to put Microsoft and Sony to shame, as they have consoles that in comparison with the Wii, are old.

Some years in the past, if you were someone that had a SEGA, you were really lucky and there are some people (even if the project failed) that still believe that someday, a Dreamcast 2 console will be launched. The console that made impossible for a Dreamcast 2 to come into existence is the Sony Play station, which at the time had a massive success. And if we are to move fast forward in time, we will see that the same thing has also bee achieved by the Nintendo Wii. Everyone was surprised when they heard the news: journalists, analysts & of course, the competitors.

As such, in regards to the hardware that the Wii incorporates, it will not have enough power in order to last you for a long while, but the greatest advantage about it is that it makes use of Blue ray discs. So what does this mean for the other competitors on the market that are delving into the gaming console market? Well, this means that they will need to abandon their projects, if any, and come up with something that will be totally radical and even better than the Wii.

The Nintendo Wii 2 has been the subject of debate on many forums and Nintendo wanted to clear out the dust and the officials said that they are still wondering whether to employ 3D technology in the console or not. The president of Nintendo, Satory Iwate, mentioned that the second generation of the famous console will have the same features that the first generation has, yet the hardware for it will be totally brand new and the big surprise is that it will also come with 20 games for you to enjoy!

The new console has been promised to be delivered somewhere around two thousand eleven or maybe in two thousand and twelve and when it will finally be out on the market, Sony‘s and Microsoft's sales will certainly get to suffer a lot. And, talking about 3D technology Satoru Iwate said that he will only consider this if the 3D TV sets market will reach 30% on sales. So it means that there will have to be many people to buy such TVs in order for them to launch a 3D Wii 2.

So what are your personal opinions about all of this? Can the other competitors stack up against Nintendo's fear machine and the new generation of nintendo wii games or will they fail and end up in disgrace?

Do you think the PS3 is dead on arrival?

Its being beaten in the sales by its main competitor the 360 by 2 to 1, its also losing its exclusives left right and center, its over priced not may people are interested in blu-ray right now, it also state it will lat 10 years when in this time both Microsoft and Nintendo will have released a successor to their current system, and if the PS3 can't compete with their current consoles how can it have a hope against any new consoles, the wii is outselling the PS3 by 4 to 1 by the way.

Isn't the truth that those that say the 360 and wii suck are only saying out of frustration after wasting a huge amount of money only to find themselves owning a failing console.
Sales source yahoo news showing wii sold around 360,000 last month, the 360 around 170,000 and the PS3 around 82,000 based on US sales. Check the various news sites for sales data, to see for yourself.

An Introduction to Microsoft 365

There has been much buzz lately in the internet world due to Microsoft's recent announcement of a new suite of software hosted entirely in the cloud.  Yes, that's right, Microsoft 365 will be hosted in the cloud; it combines the latest version of Office, 2010, with their cloud-based services to improve collaboration for businesses increasingly spread across the globe.

First, an explanation of "the cloud", in case you're unsure of what the term means.  The cloud is basically just the internet; if something is hosted in the cloud, it means it's hosted through the internet rather than locally on your own hard drive.  It's still stored somewhere, but in a location you'll probably never see.  Hosting data in the cloud has a number of advantages. It's generally cheaper than purchasing your own hardware and maintaining it yourself.  If you then choose to store your data locally as well as remotely, you have a backup which can withstand any accidents that then happen to hit your own office.

The main benefit of cloud computing, however, is from-anywhere access.  With your own login, you can generally access data from absolutely anywhere in the world.  Placing your data in the cloud means that you don't have to worry about having your own computer if you need access to your information. You may choose to find a secure location to access it from, but when you do, it will be easily done.

One of the key flagship points of using Microsoft Office 365 is that of increased collaboration.  Obviously, their main competitor, Google Docs, proudly broadcast this as one of the benefits of their own service.  You can see what others are editing and writing and work on it yourself, real-time, making it easy for large numbers of people to collaborate and check a document without creating multiple versions of it, which can easily be lost or confused with one another.  When you're finished, you can then take your document over to Office 2010 and make the final, more advanced edits which the software offers.  Microsoft now offers this same service for all of their Office suite.  With pay-as-you-go services, you're easily able to add on services and employees as you need them, rather than paying for unnecessary services regularly.

Microsoft 365 also has more potential for sharing.  Outlook 2010 hooks right into different social networks, and it's easier than ever to share slideshows with PowerPoint Broadcast Slide Show.  You'll never be out of contact when you need to work again.  Plus, the apps work with phones – not just the upcoming Windows Phone 7 but iPhones, Androids, and BlackBerries.  Not much could be better for long distance collaboration than the ability to view documents on your phone; you need never again worry that you've forgotten something important just before or during a meeting, as the information will constantly be at your fingertips.

Truly the only question remaining is whether or not using the cloud to store and edit documents will take off.  If it does, Microsoft have positioned themselves well to take advantage of the trend when it arises.
