A few years ago I came across the same question, as I wanted to help a friend in need of those A4-sized letters.
So I typed the necessary letters in Paint (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint) using the highest possible size, and then copy/pasted them as individual drawings into Word, resizing to fit the whole page.
Don't know if this is still possible on Office 2007, but nothing stops you trying...
