Did anyone else get this kind of PC Virus?
Me and my dad had to download the Microsoft Virus scan to find this virus because mcafee couldnt find it. It makes the computer say you are infected (which is true) and wants you to download a safety tool. But, the virus is in the software it wants you to download. It also re-directed our internet pages to Viagra and Porno sites... did anyone else have this problem?
It sounds like rouge anti-virus software. Some 'rouges' are pretty well designed to look legit (name-wise, interface-wise, etc) but nonetheless are still very dodgy (and in fact, malware themselves). Chances are, while you are still probably infected with something, the results displayed by 'rouges' are fake and are a ploy designed to scare users into purchasing the full version.
Perform a scan using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware; it is very good at detecting and removing these types of infections. If indeed you have downloaded a 'rouge', MBAM should confirm it and remove it for you.

Somebody mentioned something about using MBAM in Safe Mode. Do not use MBAM in Safe Mode unless you have no other choice; it is less effective due to the fact that it uses a special driver that does not work in Safe Mode.
If your infection is blocking the official MBAM site, try this alternate download link: http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/malwarebytes/mbam-setup.exe
If you are still blocked from downloading it, boot into Safe Mode and download it from there. However, boot back into normal mode (a simple reboot) to install and run it.
How to boot in Safe Mode: http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm (ensure you select 'Safe Mode with Networking' or you will not be able to use the internet.)
If MBAM will not install, rename the installation file (mbam-setup.exe) to something else (e.g heregoes.exe) and try again.
If installation is successful but MBAM will not run, try renaming the program file (mbam.exe - which by default installation is located in /Program Files/Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware/) and run it by double-clicking on the new filename (the shortcut will no longer work as the filename has changed).
If the MBAM definitions will not update, perform a quick scan anyway. Once you have completed the initial scan and removal, try updating again and perform another scan.
