How To Fix The Common Internet Explorer Problems?
The computer's IE is often attacked by malicious sites or software frequently. This troublesome action can disable IE and cause a large number of IE errors. Because computer viruses are aplenty, when you use anti-viruses software do manage to contain them most of the time, but some may make some irreversible changes to your computer, especially in the registry which maybe much more difficult to correct.
It's beyond the scope of this article to cover all of the potential fixes for my "Top 5" Internet Explorer issues, but what you'll find here is what experience has taught me is most likely to succeed.
1. Issues viewing Web pages:
Page cannot be displayed;
Red x instead of pictures;
View, Source doesn't work.
Reason 1: The image is hosted on a website that's busy, temporarily offline or defunct. Or the image file on the website might have been renamed or deleted.
Solution: Try again later or ask the sender to send it as an attachment instead of an inline image.
Reason 2: The image is hosted on a website, and you're not online.
Solution: Make sure your internet connection is active and try again.
Reason 3: Your Internet Explorer security settings are set too high, preventing you from accessing the web site which hosts the image.
Solution: Reset to the default security settings. Within Internet Explorer pages, click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Default Level
2. Issues viewing IE homepage and Default page:
If adware or spyware change your default home and/or search pages in Internet Explorer, you can change them back again. Note that if adware or spyware is still on your system while you make these changes, they may revert back, so be sure to clean your system first.
1. Open an Internet Explorer page.
2. Click Tools and Internet Options.
3. When the settings dialog opens, click General.
4. Underneath "Home page", enter your desired Internet Explorer home page.
5. Or, if desired, choose "Use Current" or just "Use Blank" page as your home page.
6. Click "OK" and save your settings.
3. Issues related with deleting IE URL history:
Whenever you open a site in Internet Explorer, its URL is saved automatically and can be seen by clicking on the little down arrow in the address bar.
Many times we want to delete a particular URL from this list. Internet Explorer provides a way to clear the whole History. You can also set the days to store the history from Internet Explorer Options but there is no way to delete any particular URL from history.
Today I'll tell you how you can delete your desired URL from IE History:
1. Open regedit and goto:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerTypedURLs
2. In right-side pane, you'll see all typed URLs as shown in following screenshot:
3. Delete the desired URL and it'll disappear from IE URL bar history.
4. Issues related with enabling registry editor:
To enable registry editor that was disabled by some malware, please do the following to regain access and perform maintenance:
Enable Registry Editor using Group Policy Editor
1. Click on the Start > Run and type "gpedit.msc" on the field (without ").
2. Navigate to:
- User Configuration
- Administrative Templates-
- System.
3. On the option: Prevent access to registry editing tools
4. Click Disabled and click on the OK button to save settings.
5. Reboot your computer.
Enable Registry Editor Using Registry Keys
If the above procedure does not work. You may also use a tool to reset registry keys. Make sure to backup your registry before making any changes.
5. Issues related with IE right button:
Many websites nowadays disable the right click function of the mouse button which I think could be very annoying sometimes. This is done so that we can't steal images, file, video, or any other website's stuff. What about if we extremely in a need of the file without any profit-making and other bad intentions? In this post a tutorial is included to teach you how to solve the problem, without having to open the source code of course!
If you use Internet Explorer 6 and 7
- Click "Tools"->"Internet Options"
- Click the "Security" tab.
- Click "Custom Level"
- Scroll down to the "scripting" section.
- Set "Active Scripting" to "disable" (Active scripts are programs written in Javascript)
- Click "Ok". Restart your internet browser.
Note: This will disable the Javascript from being rendered by your Internet Explorer browser which would mean the right click disabled's script in the website will not work anymore.

Problems with Microsoft Wireless Mouse?
Ive had this mouse for almost a year, and it has been working fine for me up until now. Recently it has started cutting out randomly, and the scrolling is also sticky sometimes. I thought it was just dying, so i bought another one, but this one has the same problem too. My computer is semi-new, i got it maybe 2 months ago, and it does this in all 3 USB ports, so i dont think its a hardware issue. Any thoughts?
thanks
Could be interference. The fact that the mouse wheel is "skipping" too, rules out the working surface. Like most wireless mice, the MS wireless mice use radio frequency to communicate between the mouse and base station/dongle. If you've got a noisy electrical equipment nearby, or someone nearby is using the same or similar mouse with the same frequency, it'll lose sync. You have to reset it by hitting the reset button on the mouse. Older models with a base station will have a reset on the base station too. Hit both and keep waving the mouse around for a minute or so. If it doesn't come back after a minute, hit the reset on the mouse again. The reset cycles the mouse's available frequencies and modulations. With luck, it'll jump to something that isn't in use.
MS has a knowledgebase entry on this.
That's why I gave up on mine and went to a wired laser mouse.

Buy Cheap Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
The Xbox 360 was released by the Microsoft Company back in 2005 and till now it has sold almost 19 million consoles.
After it was released it had gone through many revisions as well as up gradations, it has also tried to make the console cheap so that they can be afforded by most of the serious gamers and it has also worked a lot to make it more powerful.
It also includes a great home entertainment package and this has made it more successful. The recent price of the console is about $300 to $350 for most of the new models.
The Microsoft Xbox 360 console is the best choice for you if you want a great gaming console for your entertainment.
Other than Games
It is no doubt the best package for the home entertainment. Yes I am talking about the Microsoft Xbox 360 console. It is a one in all. You just need to take it out of the box and it will be ready within minutes and you will be able to enjoy your game.
The Microsoft Xbox 360 console can play any kind of DVD and it can also play the standard DVD, so you can just keep your old DVD player at your side and enjoy the great quality of the DVD in the Microsoft Xbox 360 Console.
You will be surprised to know that the Microsoft Xbox 360 console is also capable of playing the audio CDs and the quality being great.
But it is fact that if you have bought the Microsoft Xbox 360 console, you have done it with an idea to play games and not only watch DVDs or listen to audio CDs.
You will find a great list of game from where you can choose your favorite to play in your Microsoft Xbox 360 console. Some of the games available are, Halo 3, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and the Grand Theft Auto IV, other than these there are hundreds of games from where you can choose the best.
The Microsoft Xbox 360 console got so many game titles from their developers for their games.
Till now you must be greatly influenced by the games and the offers that the Xbox 360 console offers you.
But it might happen that the price of $300 might seem a little more for you to spend, if this is the problem then you can try to purchase the Xbox 360 core console.
If you buy this then you can save some of your money. You can even make up your mind to buy a console that is used and tested.
The core version of the console lacks a hard drive. If you require you can just go and buy a hard drive instead of buying players.
