HELP!! ASAP micosoft works word processor file wont open. final year project and is due?

my final year project wont open because the file may be in use by another aplication, may not have the installed converters, or may be corrupt. the file is a microsoft works word processor file and has my last months work for my final year project. I was organising to get it printed for tomorrow. Can anyone please help me recover it cos otherwise I will fail and have to repeat my final year in college

Try opeinging it from the microsoft office folder. my computer > Local Drive > Program Files > Microsoft Office / Misrosoft Works > Double click the Word icon. is it works then the shortcut u were trying to open it with is broken. if it still dosent work the press CTRL ALT DEL and end word.exe or any microsoft works/ofiice application under the procceses tab. now try opening it.
