Convenience of Windows Remote Access
Windows remote access enables you to connect to your computer across the Internet from virtually any computer, pocket PC or Smartphone. This enables you to control the mouse and keyboard over your computer while showing you everything that's happening on the screen. It is the best way to manage a computer network from practically anywhere. It turns your computer into a faraway host PC, filling your screen with its image. This works by allowing one PC connect to another, using an internet network connection. This enables you to view the desktop of an alternate PC and carry out actions like file transfers, or opening programs, and the like. You will find yourself working faster and much more effectively, in ways you never thought possible before.
There are three things needed to create a remote location. These are:
1. The Host. This computer must be part of a corporate network in which remote desktop connections are permitted. Microsoft XP Professional must be installed on the computer containing the files and programs that you want to access from the remote computer. This is a home-based computer, waiting for you to connect to.
2. The Client. The client is the remote computer. It must be running a Windows 95 or later. It must also have the Remote Desktop Connection client software installed.
3. Internet or VPN connection. Both computers must be connected to the internet through a VPN connection.
Most Common Uses for Remote Access
There are two most common scenarios for using these remote access features. First is controlling your home PC remotely using a laptop and second connecting to your office network from your PC at home. This can be extremely useful as a means to access computers that are too far away to be accessed otherwise.
How to Set up Windows Remote Access
? Start with the host computer.
? Verify that you are signed in as the administrator.
? Go to control panel and select Performance and Maintenance from the menu. Then, click on system.
? Once you have the system box up, click on the Remote tab, and select the option, Allow users to connect remotely to this computer, and then click ok.
? Make sure you have Windows Firewalls set up to allow exceptions. To do so, go to control panel and click on security center. Under manage security settings, click on windows firewall.
? Make sure that the check box for don't allow exceptions is not selected. Click on the Exceptions tab and verify that the Remote Desktop check box is selected. Then click on ok and close the windows security center window. Take note of the name of the host computer.
? In control panel, click on performance and maintenance then click system, and then click on computer name tab. Next, write down the full computer name and then click on ok. Close control panel.
? Make sure to leave this computer running and locked and connected to the corporate network with Internet access.
Second, work on the remote computer. To connect your home computer to the host, you should first, click on start on your home computer and select accessories from all programs. Second, click on remote desktop connection from communications under accessories. Then, in the computer box, type the computer name of your host computer. Next, click on connect. Lastly, when the log on to windows dialog box appears, type your user name, password and domain and click ok.
How to End the Windows Remote Access Session
To end the remote access session, first click on start, and then click log off at the bottom of the start menu. Then when prompted, click log off. This will end the session.

Client and secure gateway handle situations?
I need Support of Microsoft Internet Security and acceleration server while using a remote desktop connection manager.Any company provide the solution
The option to NAT your internal XenApp server's address is one that I know of.
We tried using only an internal web interface for a separate contracted vendor tunneling into us. NAT'ing the web interface server was part of it but more was needed. It would have have worked but our network connectivity team would have to enter a NAT for every XenApp server that any potential user would hit.
If you don't do that then when an application is launched the web interface will send back the internal IP of the XenApp server being used. Of course the end device has no idea what to do that address and the connection fails.
