Why won't my product key work?
I purchased a student edition of Microsoft Office 2010 that offered three downloads. It downloaded perfectly on my laptop but when I tried to download it onto my desktop I noticed that my desktop was so old that it didn't have a DVD drive! I didn't figure this was that big of a deal considering I could download the free trial and then just enter my own product key. But this isn't working! HELP! Why wouldn't the product key that I purchased work?
Make sure you downloaded a free trial of the right software. If you bought a special priced Student version, you may not be able to convert the generic Office 2010 free trial to it.
A call to Microsoft Customer Support might be in order.
Also, if you bought that Student Edition second hand, the previous owner(s) may have already used up one or two of its lives.

Are there any sites that publish Microsoft Office 2010 discount coupons?
Is there a website that offers discount coupons for Microsoft office 2010? If not, is there any incentive to buy the new software. I know that there are a number of discount for students, military, etc. Since it won't apply to me, it has to be an offer that applies to the general public.
